Riane Elise

Riane Elise is the quilter and curator behind Material Goods, designing minimal quilts for the modern home. She learned to quilt in 2011 from her grandmother, and once she found the right materials (linen, cotton, and wool), she fell in love and never looked back.

Riane is the author of Quilting by Hand (Quadrille 2021), and Inheritance: Minimal Quilts for the Modern Home (Material Goods, 2018). She lives and works in Denver with her husband, Kevin, and silly pup, Dallas. Connect with her on Instagram @riane.elise.
