This super soft, mid-weight brushed cotton fabric makes a luxurious cool-weather garment and makes the snuggliest quilt backings. Our brushed cotton is finished on one side by brushing it with fine metal brushes to raise and fluff the fibers, creating a soft, fuzzy, and warm feel. The other side feels like a woven cotton fabric.
Marigold Plaid features a warm, autumnal aesthetic with a focus on rich color and soft texture. A vibrant, saturated goldenrod has a warm, honey-like depth that feels both rustic and cheerful. The plaid pattern is created by intersecting lines of deep chocolate brown which moderate the brightness of the gold and deliver a grounded look.

Fabric is sold by the 1/2 yard but will be cut as continuous yardage for quantities over 1.

I think "medium" weight is misleading. I understand that "medium" is vague, and I should have asked for a number, and that's my bad. However, I expected something in the range of 5-7 oz per square yard, and this is...maybe 2 oz? It's very sheer, lighter than the cotton voile I have. I'll still use it to make a shirt, and it will be fine, just not the warm Fall shirt I was intending to make.

Quality fabric, the colors in the weave are not as expected.
The fabric is beautiful - it's just photographed to be a bit lighter in color than it is in person.
