The Slow Shirt has a collar with a stand, and a button front with grown-on plackets. The fit is exaggerated and lusciously oversized, with dropped shoulders, back pleats, and a yoke. The mid-thigh length hem is split at the side seam and cleanly finished with the side seams. Whether you sew your shirt by hand or machine the steps can be easily divided up into manageable pieces, and after a few evenings you will have a fully-finished, beautiful shirt, the memories of making it stitched into each seam.
