This delicate flower-shaped spool is made of tochinoki, or Japanese horse chestnut, which artisans at Studio Golondrina carve by hand in their workshop in snowy Nagano Prefecture. This spool is wrapped with high-quality thread made by Fujix in Kyoto, Japan.
