LDH Midnight Edition 14" Batting Shears

From the tip of the blade to the bottom of the handle, these shears are 14". These shears are spring-loaded with a hook closure, so please handle them with care and keep out of reach of children.

Use for cutting batting, leather, and fabrics of any weight — they cut just about everything. Each blade is handcrafted in a family factory by a team of artisans — in fact, aside from a few steps that are completed by machine for safety, the grinding, sharpening, assembly, and adjustment are done by hand by LDH artisans.

Care instructions: If the scissors begin to feel sticky or stiff, clean the blade of fabric and debris and apply oil — such as sewing machine oil Ñ to the blades and in and around the hinge button. Wipe away oil before use. Store closed and enclosed in a box or scissor sheath. Apply oil regularly to maintain long-term blade health.
