Indian Cotton – Cottontail Fir Ikat

White on emerald green ikat weave. Suitable for dresses, tops, shirts, and looser fitting trousers or shorts. The Ikat threads are bound in a pattern so that the threads covered by the binding 'resist' the dye, creating a design. The more binding that is done before weaving, the more complicated the pattern. Suitable for dresses, tops, shirts, and looser fitting trousers.

• For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running. Wash at 85-100 degrees with a gentle detergent. Do not tumble dry.

Sold by the half yard. Fabric will be ripped to ensure straight lines, but we will include a few extra inches on either side for squaring up.
