A woven Ikat in red blue and white. This cotton is very smooth and fine so would gather beautifully. Suitable for dresses, tops, and shirts. The Ikat threads are bound in a pattern so that the threads covered by the binding 'resist' the dye, creating a design. The more binding that is done before weaving, the more complicated the pattern. Suitable for dresses, tops, shirts, and looser fitting trousers.

For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running. Wash at 85-100 degrees with a gentle detergent. Do not tumble dry.
Sold by the half yard. Fabric will be ripped to ensure straight lines, but we will include a few extra inches on either side for squaring up.
